Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) 2021 Initial Release - Fatal Motor Vehicle Accidents

The Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) 2021 Initial Release - Fatal Motor Vehicle Accidents dataset was compiled from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). This tabular dataset is an ancillary table to supplement the geospatial accident file and contains information from the initial release of FARS 2021 data. This data file contains information about crash characteristics and environmental conditions at the time of the crash. There is one record per crash.
